Job summary

VIPCARE is seeking a Regional Medical Assistant Float to provide clinical and administrative support across multiple clinic locations. You will prepare patients, assist during visits, and manage front office tasks while traveling regionally to support providers.

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA) and 1+ year of MA experience. Travel 85% within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent certification).
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice, outpatient, or ambulatory care setting preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtained within organizational guidelines.
• IV Therapy certification preferred, where permitted by state regulations.
• Proficiency with EMRs and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and document patient history in the EMR.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Travel within the assigned region to provide clinical support (approx. 85% of the time).
• Manage front office tasks: scheduling, registration, referrals, and triage calls.
