Job summary

VIPcare seeks a Regional Medical Assistant (MA) Float to provide clinical and administrative support across multiple clinics, traveling within the region about 85% of the time. You will prepare patients, assist during visits, and support front office operations to ensure high-quality patient care.

Under supervision of a physician or APP, perform clinical tasks, document in EMR, monitor vital signs, and assist with preventive care outreach. Strong communication and clinical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and prepare them for provider examinations.
• Measure and document vital signs and other observations.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Complete front-office tasks: scheduling, registrations, referrals, and reminders.
• Coordinate patient outreach and preventive care communications.
