Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Regional Customer Director to drive scientific engagement and KOL advocacy across the West Area of the United States. The role partners with Medical, Brand, Sales, Market Access and HQ to execute compliant scientific interactions and insightful strategies for the ATTR portfolio.

The position is field-based, reporting to the ATTR - West Area Director, with up to 50–60% travel and in‑person collaboration at key meetings and congresses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience.
• Experience across Sales, Brand, Market Access, or Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and develop KOLs to advance scientific advocacy.
• Deliver compliant, high‑quality scientific exchange with disease‑state expertise.
• Surface and communicate field insights to inform strategy.
• Lead national and regional initiatives and ensure project execution.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to align field with national objectives.
• Represent the brand at congresses and scientific engagements.
• Navigate complex customer environments and influence without authority.
• Leverage CRM and analytics to improve engagement quality.
