Villa Healthcare seeks a Regional MDS Consultant RN to oversee the MDS process across multiple facilities in a designated region. You will guide facility MDS nurses, ensure compliant documentation, and drive training to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include audits, QA initiatives, and collaboration with regional leadership to maintain high standards and survey readiness. This role requires travel across the region and strong leadership in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• MDS knowledge and nursing licensure required.
• Experience guiding MDS teams and care planning.
• Regulatory compliance and documentation standards knowledge.
• Familiarity with QA and performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MDS process across multiple facilities in the region.
• Provide guidance and training to facility MDS staff.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Review MDS data, identify trends and discrepancies, and prepare reports.
• Lead education on MDS processes and regulatory requirements.
• Support survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
