Job summary

Avalon Health Care Management, Inc. is seeking a Regional Clinical Reimbursement Specialist (RN) to lead reimbursement efforts across Washington and Oregon. You will guide MDS/RAI processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with facility leadership to optimize clinical and financial outcomes.

This full-time role requires travel across the region, strong leadership, and analytical skills to drive quality improvements and reimbursement efficiency within multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Long-term care experience required.
• MDS, RAI, and clinical reimbursement experience required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and support multiple facilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Washington and Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to facility teams on MDS, RAI, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement processes.
• Monitor facility systems to promote compliance, accuracy, and best practices.
• Analyze clinical and financial outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support Quality Measures, Five-Star initiatives, and reimbursement optimization efforts.
• Educate and mentor interdisciplinary teams across the region.
• Lead program development and process improvement initiatives.
