  • Prepare and maintain MDS assessments and updates with accuracy and regulatory alignment.

Regional MDS Coordinator

As a Regional MDS Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process across multiple facilities within the region, ensuring accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to address quality of care concerns and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to achieve organizational goals through strong clinical background and communication skills
  • Coordinate MDS assessments and updates, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Identify and address quality of care concerns in collaboration with healthcare teams
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes and quality of care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of MDS assessments and quality care initiatives
  • Provide education and training to staff on MDS processes and clinical care standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of quality improvement projects
  • Develop and maintain Case Mix Index (CMI) for the region
  • Work closely with the finance team to maximize reimbursement
