Central Nursing seeks a Regional MDS Assistant Coordinator RN to oversee the MDS/RAI process across multiple facilities. This role suits an experienced RN with strong MDS/PDPM knowledge and leadership skills, including travel and training responsibilities.

The position focuses on guiding facility MDS coordinators, ensuring CMS/state compliance, and supporting quality outcomes and reimbursement accuracy. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in NJ/PA or compact state eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years of MDS/RAI experience in long-term care.
• In-depth knowledge of PDPM, Medicare/Medicaid, and case-mix reimbursement.
• Willingness to travel between facilities regularly.

Responsabilités

• Provide oversight and support to facility-based MDS coordinators.
• Ensure timely MDS assessments in CMS/state guidelines.
• Train and mentor staff on MDS, care planning and PDPM requirements.
• Audit assessments for accuracy and compliance.

We are seeking a Regional MDS Assistant Coordinator RNto oversee and support the MDS/RAI process across multiple facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN with strong knowledge of MDS, PDPM, and state/federal regulations who enjoys travel, training, and leadership.

Regional MDS Assistant Coordinator RN Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, guidance, and support to facility-based MDS coordinators.

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments in compliance with CMS and state guidelines.

• Train and mentor facility staff on MDS, care planning, and PDPM requirements.

• Audit assessments and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborate with administrators, DONs, and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes and reimbursement accuracy.

• Monitor regulatory updates and provide education to facility teams.

• Assist with survey preparation and serve as a resource during state/federal inspections.

Regional MDS Assistant Coordinator RN Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (NJ/PA required or compact state eligibility).

• Minimum 3 years of MDS/RAI experience in long-term care; regional or multi-site experience preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of PDPM, Medicare/Medicaid, and case-mix reimbursement.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and teaching skills.

• Ability to travel regularly between assigned facilities.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
