Job summary

Center Management Group is seeking a Regional MDS Assistant Coordinator RN to oversee the MDS/RAI process across multiple facilities in a hybrid travel role. The position emphasizes accurate assessments, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with facility leadership.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license in NJ/PA or a compact state, have 3+ years of MDS/RAI experience in long-term care, and possess strong PDPM knowledge.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NJ/PA or compact state eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years of MDS/RAI experience in long-term care.
• In-depth knowledge of PDPM, Medicare/Medicaid, and case-mix reimbursement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and teaching skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between assigned facilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MDS process across multiple facilities.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments per CMS/state guidelines.
• Train and mentor facility staff on MDS, care planning, and PDPM requirements.
• Audit assessments and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with administrators, DONs, and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes and reimbursement accuracy.
• Monitor regulatory updates and provide education to facility teams.
• Assist with survey preparation and serve as a resource during state/federal inspections.

Regional MDS Assistant Coordinator RN Responsibilities
