Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp is seeking a logistics and materials management leader to direct warehousing and distribution across multiple service centers. You will coordinate with storekeepers, departments, and contractors to ensure accurate inventory, adherence to policies, and efficient material flow.

You will travel to job sites, supervise inspection and cycle counting, and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting emergency/restoration efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required or in lieu, High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years experience.
• Experience in a leadership role or supervisory capacity is a plus.
• Knowledge of warehousing and materials management is advantageous.
• Proficient computer skills with SAP/CREWS and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate warehousing and distribution activities at 6-10 service center locations.
• Travel weekly to multiple line shops to coordinate with storekeepers and departments.
• Resolve material control system issues and interface with district stores.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to work practices, safety policies, and procedures.
• Coach and train employees; oversee inspections, cycle counting, picking/packing, and inventory accuracy.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to maintain sound business relationships.
