Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Self-starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.
• Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's procurement of professional services.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Experience in sales and developing win strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign.
• Willingness to travel and engage with others in-person.
• Experience winning high-value contracts in A/E/C.
• Experience writing compelling content from technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Retain, develop and supervise proposal managers and marketing coordinators.
• Manage workload demands of proposal teams.
• Lead pursuit teams with win strategies and persuasive materials.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and technical resources.
• Partner with RBG BDLs to identify needs and drive strategies.
• Lead quality reviews of proposal materials.
• Coach interview teams for key messages.
• Ensure go/no-go decisions per Matrix of Authority.
• Facilitate debriefs to identify improvements.
• Train and mentor staff in business development and marketing.
• Stay informed on market trends and drivers.
• Implement growth initiatives in strategic plans.
• Develop client plans to capture market share.
• Ensure client development plans are pursued by staff.
• Lead regional content marketing to raise HDR's brand.
• Manage regional budgets and dashboards.
• Engage in industry associations and conferences.
• Develop relationships with teaming partners.
• Perform other duties as needed.
