REGENXBIO is seeking a Market Development Director for the Southeast region to drive strategy, engagement with key accounts, and launch readiness for rare disease therapies. You will lead cross-functional teams across Sales, Medical Affairs, Patient Services, Advocacy, Marketing, and Market Access to align regional goals with company objectives.

You will develop regional plans, educate stakeholders, and optimize programs while navigating payer dynamics and access barriers.

Qualifications

5+ years in commercial/market development within biotech/pharma.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record in rare diseases or neuromuscular spaces.
Experience launching new products in complex therapies.
Strong understanding of US healthcare dynamics, market access, and reimbursement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Willing to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute targeted engagement strategies for key accounts in the Southeast.
Lead regional business planning aligned with corporate goals.
Collaborate with Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access.
Educate stakeholders and align thought leaders with strategic imperatives.
Identify barriers to care and support reimbursement readiness.
Define and track KPIs for launch execution.
Serve as primary contact for treatment centers and stakeholders.
Drive brand awareness and treatment adoption with innovative strategies.
