Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. seeks a Market Chief Executive Officer to lead and grow the market’s hospitals and ASCs across designated markets in the United States.

You will set regional growth goals, align facility operations, and drive performance with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style. As Market CEO, you will cultivate relationships with health systems and physicians, implement corporate priorities at the field level, and uphold high-quality patient care while ensuring smooth day-to-day

Responsibilities

• Develop region and facility-level growth goals in partnership with Division Presidents, facility administrators, Hospital CEOs (where applicable) and Division CFO
• Track and drive progress toward revenue & EBITDA goals; manage facility-level performance via reviews and dashboards
• Identify top opportunities for growth and cost-saving in their region (e.g., service line expansion, staffing improvements)
• Act as a consultative leader for local admins to address key issues, optimize operations, and mitigate physician concerns
• Help other teams assess and close growth opportunities within their region
• Develop and nurture key relationships with health systems and physician groups in the region
• Perform targeted on-site visits to maintain relationships and monitor performance
• Coordinate with Practice management and local SP practice leaders as needed
• Join key board meetings for facilities and participate in relevant governance activities
• Join De Novo & M&A growth conversations early to prepare for future facilities post-integration
• Run regular check-ins with Administrators/CEOs and support development of key management skills
