Job summary

Tenet Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Chief Executive Officer for a Surgical Hospital within its USPI network. The role oversees daily operations, clinical services, staffing, budgets, and external contracts to exceed patient and financial goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and departments; leading quality and infection control programs; and driving growth through service development and market planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare management or related field.
• Master’s degree is strongly preferred for senior hospital leadership roles.
• Minimum extensive experience in hospital or surgical facility management.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and control all operating functions of the surgical hospital.
• Lead liaison between Governing Board, Medical Staff, and facility departments.
• Develop budgets, staffing plans, and purchasing while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Oversee clinical services, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
• Develop marketing plans and drive facility growth in ambulatory surgery services.
