Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Regional Manufacturing Development Manager in Dayton, TN to oversee workforce capability, training systems, and certification processes across facilities. The role partners with HR, operations and plant leadership to improve readiness and performance.

The position focuses on implementation of standard training practices, coaching of coaches and supervisors, and alignment of training with safety and quality goals. Up to 30% travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 4-6 years of manufacturing, workforce development, training, operations, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or training environment.
Experience with LMS or digital training platforms and CI/Lean tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Regional Training & Development Management across assigned facilities.
Lead workforce capability development, onboarding, skill progression and certification readiness.
Standardize training and certification processes, applying TWI where appropriate.
Provide leadership and coaching to Training Coaches and training teams.
Monitor training KPIs, drive improvements in safety, quality and readiness.
