Dura-Line in the United States is seeking a Regional Manufacturing Controller to develop and maintain the standard cost system, monitor costs, and provide operations analysis to the V.P. of Operations and senior management. Relocation to Georgia or Tennessee is required, with travel about 50% to sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least two years as Plant Controller.
• Experience in building standard costs, operating variance analysis, and developing reporting tools.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into concise management presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (primarily SAP) and ability to extract data for ad hoc reports.
• Expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business; MBA in Finance a plus; CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a bottoms-up annual operations budget by plant and monitor conversion costs by month.
• Manage standard cost updates and analyze manufacturing variances to drive cost improvements.
• Create monthly forecasts of plant spend and conversion costs in collaboration with plant management.
• Provide meaningful analysis of monthly operating results by plant and report key metrics.
• Coordinate monthly inventory reviews and related reserves in line with policy.
• Support capital expenditure proposals and ensure compliance with policy and ROI thresholds.
