Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Engineering for our transmission line group in the Colorado region. You will lead and develop engineering teams, drive quality, and oversee project scope, schedule, and budgets while supporting business development.

This hybrid role offers the chance to shape strategies, grow client relationships, and deliver cost-competitive engineering services across the US and Caribbean markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• 15+ years of related engineering experience, from consulting or electric utility work, is required.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ability to communicate and apply engineering recommendations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop engineering teams.
• Support business development activities and grow the regional business.
• Ensure teams uphold Pickett’s values, brand promises, and code of conduct.
• Provide a work environment conducive to growth and development.
• Provide project oversight, including scope, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
• Maintain high-quality outputs aligned with client requirements and standards.
• Oversee transmission line design activities and quality assurance.
