Job summary

SyRES PROPERTIES is seeking a Regional Manager to lead a multi-state portfolio of multifamily communities, guiding Community Managers toward an owner-operator mindset. You will connect daily operations to revenue, expenses, NOI, and asset value while driving asset performance across the portfolio.

The role requires strong leadership and financial acumen, travel across states, and demonstrated success in scaling operating practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Hospitality or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive multifamily property management experience including leadership responsibility for multiple communities or markets.
• Multi-state portfolio management experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop Community Managers and build high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to interpret financial statements, budgets, forecasts, variance reports, and operational KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Leads the overall performance of an assigned multi-state portfolio, ensuring communities achieve established operational, financial, leasing, resident experience, and business performance goals.
• Provides direct leadership, coaching, and accountability to Community Managers, developing them into strong business and people leaders.
• Develops an owner-operator mindset across property teams by connecting daily operational decisions to revenue, expenses, NOI, asset value, resident experience, and long‑term property performance.
• Reviews financial statements, budgets, forecasts, market conditions, and operational performance and partners with Community Managers to develop and execute action plans that drive results.
• Builds and reinforces a consistent SyRES culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across geographically diverse teams.
