Job summary

KETCH Kansas Elks Training Center for the Handicapped in Kansas seeks a Regional Manager to coordinate day program services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, monitor service quality and health and safety, and lead Direct Support teams. This full-time role offers weekday hours and immediate hiring.

Ideal candidates have at least six months in I/DD care, with supervisory experience, a BA/BS in a related field, strong communication, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least six months of care experience with adults with I/DD in a human services setting.
• Strong decision making skills.
• BA/BS degree in social services, rehabilitation, business administration, or comparable I/DD work experience.
• One year of supervisory/management experience in scheduling, leading, supervising, evaluating, and managing teams.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or 1/4 of body weight, whichever is less.
• Beneficial experience: day program management, supervision, leadership, health and safety, crisis management.
