Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers in Decatur, AL is seeking a Regional Manager with proven leadership to oversee daily operations, donor recruitment and blood collection goals. The role requires organizing, decisiveness and the ability to motivate the team to achieve targets.

Starting salary range is $64,000.00 - $70,400.00 per year with a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, medical/dental/vision, HSA with employer match and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• Three years of effective management experience.
• Bachelor's degree; an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted.
• Valid driver's license and LifeSouth driver eligibility.
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting and personnel management techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to prepare concise and informative reports.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize office, management and blood banking software.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the regional center and blood mobiles as well as blood collection and donor recruitment.
• Ensure established percentage to inventory goals are met for all departments within the region.
• Ensure the region operates within its established budget.
• Review weekly recruitment goals and projections; implement corrective action when projections and goals are not achieved.
• Direct and evaluate the work of department supervisors and work with them to manage staff.
• Oversee hiring of branch staff.
