Job summary

Flagship Communities seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician for our manufactured home communities. The role covers painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical work and landscaping, with regional travel as needed.

The candidate should work autonomously, adhere to safety standards and take pride in delivering high-quality resident services. A high school diploma and 4–7 years in housing maintenance are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–7 years in housing maintenance and rehab is preferred.
• Carpentry is a must.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, and general systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform minor repairs (locks, windows) and pest control tasks.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in good condition; perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
