Job summary

Amazon's Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team in Florida seeks a Regional Area Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance teams, drive safety, and optimize MHE across the region. You will blend strategic planning with hands-on leadership to ensure uptime and excellent service.

Travel up to 80% domestically to provide escalation support, develop preventative programs, coordinate contractors, and mentor technicians to perform at their best.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time experience.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering growth and performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during maintenance activities across the region.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs and manage external contractors while upholding high-quality service.
• Monitor MHE metrics and collaborate with teams to address system performance issues and provide analysis.
• Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance within the region.
