Position Overview

The Regional Maintenance Planner and Scheduler plays a critical role within the Maintenance organization. This role manages, creates, updates, and maintains the maintenance schedule and plan for general maintenance and turnarounds across multiple locations. It also involves supervising aspects of the turnaround and maintenance teams to ensure schedule execution. The Planner collects, organizes, and documents work order steps, including resources, tools, and materials, to execute maintenance safely and efficiently.

The planner is responsible for scheduling employee work to ensure timely completion, facilitating maintenance productivity, and ensuring safe, quality work through clear work order development. The role requires utilizing current knowledge and documentation, as well as improving documentation for future use.

Qualifications

• Facilitate, lead, and supervise maintenance activities related to the Work Management Process.
• Plan work scope and priorities with Maintenance Coordinator, Supervisor, and regional resources. Develop job plans for critical maintenance and train staff on CMMS use.
• Track services, tools, and materials to enable safe and effective work execution. Coordinate material procurement with production schedules.
• Coordinate details of materials, services, and tools across the Midwest region. Lead weekly Maintenance/Operations planning meetings and utilize contract resources for job planning.
• Supervise work execution according to plans and collect documentation for review and improvement.
• Support Reliability Management by updating asset documentation, procedures, and master data, and recommending standards upgrades.

Additional Information

This role is based in Joliet, IL, with travel to Gurnee, IL, and Utica, IL, once a week each.
