World Fuel is seeking a Regional Maintenance Operations Supervisor to lead maintenance execution and reliability across Northern California. This hands-on leadership role supervises Field Service Technicians, coordinates contractors, and ensures safe, compliant fueling locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance operations, facilities maintenance, field services, contractor management, fuel operations, or a related field.
• Experience leading technicians, contractors, or field personnel.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing maintenance activities, work orders, and service providers.
• Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Field Service Technicians across the region.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor maintenance activities to ensure timely service delivery.
• Provide coaching, training, feedback, and performance support to technicians.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for operational and maintenance-related issues.
• Participate in field activities and site support as needed.
• Oversee maintenance help desk tickets and work orders from initiation through completion.
• Monitor ticket response times, aging reports, maintenance backlogs, and service levels.
• Evaluate maintenance requests and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and documented properly.
• Review completed work orders for coding accuracy, completeness, and supporting documentation.
