Job summary

Pratum Companies in the Washington, DC Metro Region seeks a Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across a multi-state portfolio of affordable apartment communities. This role requires leadership, extensive maintenance experience, and travel across DC/MD/VA with occasional out-of-state travel.

You will drive preventive maintenance programs, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and coordinate with property managers, asset teams, and vendors to maintain safety and curb

Qualifications

• 10+ years related technical, multi-family and multi-site residential maintenance experience.
• At least 5 years in a staff supervisory and managerial capacity.
• NSPIRE/REAC Inspection experience.
• Vocational/Technical diploma desired, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong hands-on technical capabilities and knowledge of building systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Site, Building and Units to identify maintenance issues and schedule work.
• Supervise capital projects as needed.
• Coordinate with Regional Property Manager on special projects for the portfolio.
• Manage maintenance budget and cost control processes including staff and outside contractors.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Develop and train Emergency and Disaster Plans and other safety procedures.
• Support procurement and vendor service contracts for maintenance.
