Job summary

Action Resources is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the maintenance teams across the Southeast. You will coordinate, schedule and audit vehicle maintenance, including preventive, mechanical, and electrical repairs, while maintaining safe, low-cost operations.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to mentor technicians, drive performance, and collaborate with maintenance leadership on audits and training plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of similar or related experience with proven leadership.
• College degree preferred but will consider relevant experience.
• Strong oral, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills; organizational capabilities.
• Experience negotiating with vendors and OEM warranty personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and shop activities across locations.
• Lead shop safety programs and ensure compliant workplace.
• Develop training and tooling plans to meet company needs.
• Manage audits, metrics, and cost control for repairs.
• Coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance and PMs.
• Collaborate with vendors to secure cost-effective repairs.
• Report on maintenance performance and divisions’ highlights.
