Job summary

SpecialtyRx is seeking a Regional Pharmacist Trainer to lead onboarding, deliver ongoing education, and standardize workflows across multiple LTC pharmacies. This role centers on leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality pharmacy operations.

The position requires a strong LTC background, exceptional communication, and the ability to drive training initiatives from concept to implementation, with regional travel up to 60% and a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

Active Ohio Pharmacist license required.
Willingness to obtain licensure in KY, VA, IL and IN.
Minimum of four years of Long-Term Care pharmacy experience.
Experience training, mentoring or educating pharmacy staff.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with FrameworkLTC, FrameworkECM, DocuTrack and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple training initiatives.
Willingness to travel approximately 40–60% throughout the region.

Responsibilities

Lead onboarding and orientation programs for newly hired pharmacists.
Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to pharmacists across the region.
Develop and facilitate training sessions, educational materials, and competency assessments.
Partner with pharmacy leadership to identify training needs and development plans.
Standardize pharmacy workflows and best practices across locations.
Train pharmacists on FrameworkLTC, FrameworkECM, DocuTrack and other platforms.
Support implementation of new processes, technologies, and initiatives.
Assist with onboarding acquired facilities and ensure smooth transitions.
Promote accountability, collaboration, compliance and patient-centered care.
Monitor performance and identify opportunities for retraining.
Maintain training records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Compliance, Operations and leaders to align training with standards.
