Job summary

Redner’s Markets, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Associate to detect, report and resolve theft and asset loss in stores. You will conduct surveillance, perform store and receiving audits, and maintain documentation to support investigations.

The role requires discretion, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to perceive situations accurately.
• Ability to maintain records and documentation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a full understanding of Civil and Criminal Laws set forth by the police and/or District Justice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance to detect internal and external theft and handle situations according to company standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to protect assets.
• Monitor security CCTV systems, if applicable.
• Enforce company security and loss prevention procedures.
• Conduct daily store audits.
• Conduct weekly receiving audits.
• Conduct weekly out of code audits.
• Follow through and represent the company in court when needed.
• Maintain and submit all necessary documentation including apprehension reports and warnings.
• Maintain documentation pertaining to hours worked and mileage reimbursement.
• Represent Redner’s Markets in a professional manner.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
