Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a seasoned Materials, Logistics & Tool Management Manager to lead material handling, warehousing, and tool programs across fabrication facilities and active construction projects in Phoenix, AZ. You will build scalable processes, align with Operations, Procurement, and Project teams, and drive cost efficiency while ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial construction, heavy construction, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain.
• 5+ years leading warehouse, logistics, material management, or construction support teams.
• Experience supporting self-perform industrial construction operations.
• Strong understanding of industrial construction materials, equipment, and workflows.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects across dispersed locations.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specs, material takeoffs, packing lists, and procurement reports.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with ERP systems, inventory management software, Microsoft Office, and project tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse, logistics, and tool management teams across facilities.
• Develop scalable material management processes and standards.
• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution.
• Coordinate material transfers and yard laydown across projects.
• Develop KPIs and reporting for material, logistics, and tool management.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality in material handling.
