Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/public administration, economics, industrial engineering or related field.
• Five years of verifiable experience planning, developing, implementing and administering materials management systems.
• Minimum of three years supervising personnel engaged in inventory management, distribution or purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate materials management systems and processes.
• Coordinate procurement, purchasing and contracting activities with solicitations, scopes of work and performance monitoring.
• Budget development, monitoring expenditures and assisting with resource planning.
• Provide guidance on materials management, purchasing, inventory control and related procedures.
• Prepare reports, contract documents and cost control materials.
• Plan and supervise subordinate staff, providing training and feedback.
