Job summary

First International Bank & Trust is seeking a Regional Loan Associate Supervisor in Minot, ND, to lead and develop Loan Associates across our Central and Western markets. You will coach teams, optimize loan operations, and ensure accuracy in documentation and funding while partnering with branch leaders.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and a strong focus on customer experience as you drive consistency and excellence across locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 4+ years in banking or loan operations.
• Experience with loan documentation and administration.
• Previous leadership or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Loan Associates across the market.
• Serve as subject matter expert for loan operations, documentation, funding, and post-closing processes.
• Provide training and mentorship to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor loan production and staffing across locations and allocate resources effectively.
• Oversee loan funding, lien perfection, and related documentation activities.
• Review audit findings, documentation exceptions, and tickler reports to maintain quality standards.
• Establish performance expectations and develop action plans for employee success.
• Partner with leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Support organizational initiatives and guide teams through change with a customer-focused culture.
