Job summary

First International Bank & Trust seeks a Commercial Loan Officer in Williston, North Dakota to grow business relationships, manage a commercial loan portfolio, and help local businesses achieve their financial goals.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, perform credit analysis, structure lending solutions, and work with internal teams to deliver sound lending practices while staying engaged with the Williston market and community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Accounting/Economics/Agriculture Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, and relationship management favored.
• Strong communication and networking skills to develop new business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with commercial customers, prospects, and referral sources.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Analyze commercial loan requests, financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and other credit information.
• Structure and negotiate lending solutions that align with customer needs and bank objectives.
• Partner with internal teams to prepare loan presentations and complete underwriting requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including financial reporting, covenant compliance, and risk indicators.
• Review delinquent accounts and collaborate with customers to identify appropriate solutions.
• Maintain an understanding of market conditions and commercial lending products.
• Represent the bank in the community while delivering exceptional customer service.
