Job summary

Saia LTL Freight is seeking a professional truck driver to operate tractor trailers across long distances, delivering freight safely and efficiently. You will navigate regional routes, perform daily inspections, and ensure accurate loading and paperwork.

Qualified candidates hold a valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker and twin trailer endorsements, plus at least 1 year of verifiable experience. Competitive pay and a full benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker and twin trailer endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI or license suspensions for moving violations in past 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailers to deliver and pickup freight between terminals and facilities.
• Travels regionally and cross-regionally with single, double, or triple trailers.
• Follows pre-trip, post-trip, and billing procedures and maintains logs.
• Performs inspections and adheres to DOT safety requirements.
• Maintains records, forms and load-related paperwork.
