Job summary

Saia LTL Freight is seeking a professional CDL driver to operate tractor trailers for regional and cross-regional freight movements. You will follow safety and DOT procedures, complete all load-related paperwork, and maintain high standards for on-time deliveries.

The role requires at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience, a valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker and twin trailer endorsements, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

Minimum 21 years of age and legal work status in the United States.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Valid Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker, and twin trailer endorsements.
At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
No DUI/DWI or license suspensions for moving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

Drive tractor trailers to deliver and pickup freight between company terminals, customer facilities, or meeting points.
Travel regionally and cross-regionally while pulling single, double, or triple trailers.
Follow established pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling, and billing procedures.
Conduct inspections per safety and quality control procedures.
Maintain records, logs, forms and load-related paperwork.
