Arrowhead Library System seeks an Executive Director to establish and direct its regional library services, guiding standards and policy across a multicounty cooperative. The role reports to the Governing Board with broad latitude in professional activities.

Minimum qualifications include a four-year degree and an ALA-accredited MLS, plus at least five years in professional library work and three years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree plus an ALA-accredited master’s degree in Library Science.
• Broad, extensive experience in all phases of professional library work, including leadership roles.

Responsabilités

• Establish and direct the program of library services for the Arrowhead Library System.
• Promote and develop standards and determine policies essential to operations.
• Provide program policy guidance with wide latitude in professional activities, under the Governing Board.
