Job summary

Qualifications

• A Master of Library Science degree from an accredited graduate library school is required.
• Four (4) years of full-time experience as a professional librarian after earning the MLS, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity at an urban public library.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of a large regional branch library and associated branches.
• Oversee staff scheduling, training, performance evaluation, and supervision.
• Manage circulation, interlibrary loan, reference services, and technology-supported library operations.
• Develop and implement programs, services, and special events to promote library usage.
