Job summary

Morgan Truck Body is seeking a Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to deploy the Pondexter Lean Production System across about six plants. You will map current processes, target cycle and lead times, and lead cross-functional teams on shop floor improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in Lean and CI, Six Sigma training, and travel 50-75%. You will develop standard work, 5S, and visual management, tracking KPIs and delivering measurable cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in discrete manufacturing with Lean/CI methods.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering KPI-based improvements.
• Strong analytical and financial savings calculation skills.

Responsibilities

• Document current processes and propose improvements via Kaizen, VSM, and problem-solving tools.
• Standardize processes and develop SOPs, 5S, and KPI dashboards across plants.
• Lead Lean/CI initiatives and calculate financial savings and ROI.
• Mentor staff in Lean methods and publish progress reports.
