Job summary

Morgan Truck Body seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to champion Lean initiatives across the plant in Janesville, WI. You’ll lead cross-functional Kaizen events, map value streams, and implement standard work to drive measurable cost savings and performance gains.

With 5+ years in manufacturing and 3+ years driving Lean projects, you’ll train teams, monitor KPIs, and partner with leadership to sustain long-term operational excellence. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing applying Lean methodologies and problem solving.
• 3+ years driving continuous improvement with financial analysis and ROI calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Kaizen events to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Document current-state processes and map value streams for opportunities.
• Develop SOPs, standard work, and 5S to standardize operations across units.
• Design and implement KPI tracking and cost-savings measurement.
• Coach teams on Lean tools and problem-solving methods.
• Partner with leadership to sustain long-term operational excellence.
• Prepare regular progress updates and Kaizen financial validation.
