Job summary

Bodycote in the Midwest seeks a Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across manufacturing sites. You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to improve productivity, quality, safety, and costs, under the direction of the Hebron, Kentucky General Manager.

You will lead Kaizen events, coach leaders, and develop a CI roadmap with KPIs; travel regularly to multiple sites in the Mid-West region while upholding ITAR/compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or similar field.
• 2–4 years Lean experience or training; continuous improvement emphasis.
• Six Sigma experience or certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and related tools (5S, SMED, TPM, etc.).
• Proven lean management experience and ability to teach/coach.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects including Kaizen events aligned to targets.
• Lead Lean transformations to safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Train and coach managers in Lean principles and daily management.
• Partner with function heads to build a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coach site leaders to implement lean practices and improvements.
• Audit and sustain CI Lean health with scoring and gap analysis.
• Develop Kaizen roadmap with KPI goals and lead projects.
• Perform regular Gemba walks to identify opportunities.
