Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Regional Manager, Autonomy Systems Validation to oversee operations across testing locations. You will mentor Operations Coordinators, standardize regional processes, and drive safety and KPI performance in a fast-paced, high-tech setting.

The role demands travel to regional sites, strong data analytics, and collaboration with engineering teams to achieve testing goals while maintaining safety compliance and on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regional, multi-site, or high-level supervisory role.
• Strong data analytics skills and ability to translate data into reports.
• Ability to manage and develop supervisory-level employees.
• Experience collaborating with staffing agencies and scaling headcount.
• Willingness to travel frequently to regional testing sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, mentor, and evaluate Operations Coordinators across the region.
• Standardize regional training, onboarding, and procedures across sites.
• Aggregate regional data to set and monitor KPIs and dashboards.
• Develop and present high-level operational reports to senior leadership.
• Optimize regional resource allocation and scheduling across sites.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to meet testing goals.
• Ensure safety inspections and secure transfer of drive data to the cloud.
• Maintain readiness of tools, equipment, and testing assets.
• Oversee operators across autonomous, semi-autonomous, and manual modes in diverse conditions.
• Lead site-level leadership to enforce safety and prompt interventions.
• Audit test cases, edge-cases, and scenarios on public roads and closed facilities.
