Job summary

Malteurop Group. seeks a North American Regional Laboratory Manager to oversee multiple barley and malt production laboratories under the direction of the Quality Director. The role prioritizes accurate data, calibration, and timely reporting across sites in North America.

You will lead 3 malt and 2 barley laboratories and coordinate with the Mexico facility, ensuring high-quality data, instrument maintenance, and compliance with GLP/GMP. Travel up to 35% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science related field required.
• 10+ years in Laboratory roles with 7+ years in manufacturing settings.
• 5+ years of Laboratory Management; multi-site management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of 3 malt and 2 barley laboratories and scheduling of up to 10 technicians.
• Coordinate with labs in Mexico; oversee remote teams and maintain data integrity.
• Ensure instruments are calibrated, maintained, and validated across sites.
• Lead root cause analyses for deviations and ensure analytical plans are followed.
• Develop and implement lab safety, GMP, and QA practices across all sites.
• Provide performance feedback and conduct mid-year/annual reviews.
