Job summary

Krause Auto Group seeks a Regional IT Field Technician to deliver hands-on IT support across multiple dealership locations in North and South Carolina. You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and network issues, while assisting with Microsoft 365 and endpoint management.

Travel between sites is required, including occasional overnight stays, with a mix of onsite and remote work. You will join a collaborative IT team, own problem resolution, and help deploy new equipment and

Qualifications

Minimum experience in IT support, desktop support, field services, or equivalent technical role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and common business applications.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based environments.
Experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, networking, Wi-Fi, and peripherals.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, switches, and wireless networking.
Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and know when to escalate.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote technical support for dealership employees and departments.
Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, network connectivity, Wi-Fi, and dealership technology.
Install, configure, maintain, and replace computers and related hardware.
Assist with Microsoft 365, Windows, user accounts, email, applications, and endpoint management.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including computer setup and access.
Assist with network equipment, switches, wireless access points, cabling, internet connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting.
Support IP phones and dealership communication systems.
Collaborate with third-party vendors and technology providers to diagnose and resolve issues.
Assist with acquisitions, tech upgrades, and IT projects.
Maintain documentation of systems, equipment, inventory, configurations, and completed work.
Escalate complex infrastructure issues to the IT team as needed.
Ensure technology and security standards are followed across locations.
Build strong relationships with management and employees and provide professional, responsive service.
Take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution.
