Job summary

DSV seeks a Regional Insurance Manager to lead the regional insurance program, manage the Insurance Management team, and align local and global insurance initiatives. The role oversees underwriting of Cargo and Property risks and supports sales campaigns while coordinating with CFOs, country managers, and operations.

Requires a university degree in insurance or related field, strong leadership, and extensive knowledge of cargo, EL, FFL, property, liability and D&O insurance; English proficiency

Qualifications

• University degree or comparable qualification in insurance, law, risk management or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Experience with international transportation- and commercial law.
• Contract review experience.
• Extensive knowledge of cargo, FFL, EL, property, liability and D&O insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal English and other languages where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Insurance Management team and region.
• Oversee local policy issuance and payments in line with global programs.
• Underwrite Cargo and Property risks under delegated authority.
• Support cargo insurance sales campaigns and local materials.
• Provide insurance-related reporting to regional and local management.
• Train National Insurance Coordinators and other stakeholders on insurance processes.
