Job summary

Messer North America, Inc. is seeking a Regional Instrument Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of our regional chemical manufacturing processes.

You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, calibrations, and instrumentation replacements across regional plants. The role requires extensive travel (up to 90%), strong knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and safety protocols, plus ISA Level III certification within two years.

Qualifications

• Thirteen (13) years of relevant experience in a related process plant operations, maintenance or reliability activity.
• ISA Level III certification expected within two years of hire.
• Two-year technical degree or related certification considered in lieu of ISA Level 3.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 90%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable operation and preventative maintenance for regional plants.
• Lead safety and reliability improvements across regional sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems.
• Calibrate and replace field instrumentation devices.
• Prepare and review maintenance work orders in SAP.
• Coordinate with regional engineers and contractors on outages.
