Job summary

Messer is seeking a Regional Instrument Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of our chemical manufacturing processes. You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on instrumentation and controls across regional plants.

Responsibilities include maintaining calibration, troubleshooting, and coordinating with regional staff on major outages and turnarounds. Strong safety focus and proficiency with CMMS/SAP are required.

Qualifications

• Thirteen years of relevant experience in process plant operations or reliability.
• ISA Level III certification or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• Experience with instrumentation and controls in chemical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Instrumentation and controls maintenance.
• Lead major outages in the region with regional staff.
• Calibrate and configure field instrumentation.
• Assist in commissioning and documentation of instrumentation projects.
