Job summary

Carson is seeking an Inside Sales professional focused on current customer retention and growth in the southwest Idaho and northeast Oregon markets. This full-time, in-office role emphasizes accurate order processing, proactive sales outreach, and timely delivery coordination.

You will respond to inquiries, upsell opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams on pricing and vendor setup. A customer-centric mindset and strong communication are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are advantageous.
• Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in order processing and customer interaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Positive attitude, proactive problem-solving skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and order processing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls and emails from customers, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and resolving concerns.
• Proactively reach out to customers to enhance relationships and uncover new sales opportunities.
• Manage the submission of vendor pricing information and collaborate with internal teams to set up pricing for products.
• Perform accurate order entry, ensuring correct pricing, quantities, and delivery details.
• Review orders for accuracy and completeness, addressing discrepancies or issues before forwarding them for delivery.
• Communicate with internal departments to track delivery ETA and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Initiate proactive sales calls to customers within your assigned book of business, identifying upsell opportunities.
• Receive incoming customer inquiries and assess the nature of the request; delegate to appropriate departments.
