The position involves product management tasks, vendor coordination, pricing, inventory monitoring, and developing marketing promos. A strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent work experience in related function.
• Successful written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or with teams.

Responsibilities

• Initiate sales, take orders, and meet customer needs.
• Manage product responsibilities including vendor selection, purchasing, pricing, and inventory monitoring.
• Contact customers about market fluctuations and trends.
• Initiate inquiries, sales, and promotions for product needs.
• Coordinate customer inventory and deliveries with shipping personnel.
• May perform freight/trucking specialist duties at some locations.
• Assist outside sales staff and product managers.
• Develop and execute marketing programs, promotions, and new product research.
• Provide lead role to sales support staff.
• Commit to safety, quality, environmental awareness and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
