Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a part-time pharmacist to ensure safe use of medications within a hospital setting. You will prepare, dispense, and supervise IVs and meds, advise on interactions, and maintain inventories across THOFNE facilities.

The role requires a BS Pharmacy degree with CT licensure; PharmD preferred, and hospital experience is valued. Per diem shifts are available within our network.

Qualifications

• BS Pharmacy degree required with PharmD preferred.
• CT Pharmacist license.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and supervise preparation of all medications and IVs for patients.
• Advise health care professionals on drug interactions, side effects, and proper administration.
• Supervise non-pharmacist personnel and ensure accurate orders and efficient workflow.
• Verify orders for dose, allergies, interactions and monitor lab data before dispensing.
• Maintain narcotics inventory and complete required forms for C-II items.
• Will cover at THOFNE hospitals.
