Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic seeks a part-time pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical services across patient populations in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include dispensing and verifying inpatient and outpatient orders and ensuring dosing based on age, weight, and renal function.

Completion of an accredited PharmD or five-year Bachelor’s program with pharmacist licensure (NY State or reciprocal) is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy with a five year Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy or a six year entry level Pharmacy D. degree.
• Completion of pharmacy internship and licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by passing examination of the NY State Board of Pharmacy or by the reciprocal licensure.
• Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical service and care to all patient populations including neonates, infants, children, adults and geriatrics.
• Prepare and refill inpatient and outpatient prescription orders, ensure dosing based on age, weight and renal function.
