Job summary

Qualified Recruiter, LLC seeks an experienced Regional Infrastructure & Wireless Lead to drive enterprise WLAN/LAN engineering, wireless upgrades, plant IT support, and IT asset management.

You'll perform surveys with Ekahau/AirMagnet, develop AP placement, channel plans, and ensure designs meet standards. The role requires strong communication and coordination with network teams and stakeholders in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise WLAN/LAN engineering.
• Strong RF fundamentals and wireless design knowledge.
• Familiarity with channel planning and spectrum analysis.
• Experience with manufacturing/plant environments is a plus.
• Ability to review vendor designs and ensure standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform WLAN surveys using Ekahau/AirMagnet and analyze RF coverage, interference, roaming, and signal strength.
• Develop wireless engineering packages, AP placement maps, channel plans, and technical documentation.
• Review vendor designs, installation plans, and ensure compliance with network standards.
• Support network installation, troubleshooting, post-installation validation, and project closeout.
• Provide onsite plant IT support, including workstation, printer, scanner, and network troubleshooting.
• Maintain ITAM/CMDB records, asset inventory, reconciliation, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with network teams, contractors, and business stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Regional Infrastructure & Wireless Lead to support enterprise WLAN/LAN engineering, wireless network upgrades, plant IT support, and IT asset management for a leading organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform WLAN surveys using Ekahau/AirMagnet and analyze RF coverage, interference, roaming, and signal strength.
• Develop wireless engineering packages, AP placement maps, channel plans, and technical documentation.
• Review vendor designs, installation plans, and ensure compliance with network standards.
• Support network installation, troubleshooting, post-installation validation, and project closeout.
• Provide onsite plant IT support, including workstation, printer, scanner, and network troubleshooting.
• Maintain ITAM/CMDB records, asset inventory, reconciliation, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with network teams, contractors, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of enterprise WLAN/LAN engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Ekahau and/or AirMagnet.
• Strong knowledge of RF fundamentals, wireless design, and channel planning.
• Experience with manufacturing, warehouse, or plant environments preferred.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, MDF/IDF, ITAM/CMDB, and ServiceNow.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
