Job summary

NextGen Healthcare is seeking an experienced Manager of Information Operations to lead the regional field engineering team and centralized support. This role anchors in Montgomery County, MD (Bethesda/Rockville) with oversight across Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
6+ years of progressive IT support experience; 2+ years in supervision.
Healthcare/EHR or practice management software experience preferred.
Experience in a complex, large-scale organizational environment.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of the Technical Support and Field Services teams across regional locations.
Monitor service levels, response times, and customer satisfaction; implement corrective actions to meet SLAs.
Escalation point for complex technical issues; ensure timely resolution and clear communication with customers.
Perform personnel functions: interviewing, hiring, onboarding, evaluating performance, developing staff.
